Let's just say that our little family had an interesting beginning. We made through difficulties and heartache. Three years ago, God blessed us and we finally became family, and one mangey dog. Should I count her as a blessing? I guess so. Majority rules.
Hopefully we will continue to learn, grow, reach out, and trust, in each other, most importantly in GOD.
He has the more, um, Philly approach to life. He works hard, but knows when it's time to play. However, it's been a little difficult lately to find that balance. He enjoys the simple things like spending time with family and friends. But he also appreciates some of the finer things in life. He's honest, sometimes a little brutal, which can be seen as rude. But it's in your face, that's the East Coast way; not smile and say it behind your back. Another East Coast trait, trust no one, but once it's earned, you've gained a true friend for life. One that stands with you, no matter what. True brotherly love.

Our young lady
She has an amazing heart. Full of love, laughter, kindness. She forgives quickly and her faith in you is never failing. She's a true friend, and a wonderful daughter. Every thought of her brings a smile to my face and gratitude in my heart. I am forever humbled by the gift that God has given me in this beautiful person that is my child
Me
I am what I believe, and they are the following: I believe that we are all connected. That our actions affect others, and we should all practice the skill of empathy, and develop the habit of kindness. I think people should be held accountable and be responsible for all their actions and accept the consequences of their mistakes. Opportunities should always be seized, because it is placed in front of you for a purpose. Follow it, since it might be the path He has chosen for you.
